Elodie Iddou started her career by assisting Christophe Carita for the famous House of Beauty Carita, Paris. After assisting for four years, she was appointed to the position of Studio Hairstylist for Carita. During this time she worked with French Vogue, Votre Beaute, L’Officiel, French Marie Claire, French Elle, and Madame Figaro.
Elodie’s career was launched when Yves St. Laurent hired her to assist his main hair & makeup artist. After working for 6 years at the House of YSL, she started her career as an independent hair & makeup artist. Elodie has collaborated with esteemed photographers Arthur Elgort, Helmut Newton, Gian Paolo Barbieri, Bettina Rheims, William Klein, Steve Hiett, Bruce Weber and Anne Menke. In the late 90’s, she was called upon to work as the hair & makeup artist for the documentary The life of Yves St. Laurent.
Elodie’s work has appeared in DS, Vogue Bambini, American Cosmo, Guess Kids, Italian Vogue, GQ, Macy’s NY, Lacoste, American Eagle Outfitters, French Cosmo and Italian Cosmo. Her list of star clients includes Catherine Deneuve, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, and Ines de la Fressange among others.
